A cafe, an office or a gym can be built inside a 20ft or 40ft container and fitted out to your layout, ready to open far sooner than a traditional fitout.
The same container that becomes a granny flat can become a coffee window, a consulting room or a small gym. The structure is the same. What changes is the layout and the fitout inside it.
Common commercial uses
- Cafe or takeaway with a service window and outdoor seating
- Office, studio or consulting room on an existing site
- Small gym, studio or wellness space
- Site office or sales suite for a development

Built to your layout
Any container size can be used, from 20ft to 40ft or several joined together. Glass sliding doors, black frame windows and an open floor plan are standard, and the fitout is designed around how your business works.
Approvals for commercial use
A commercial building is assessed differently to a home. Depending on the use, it may need planning approval for the business, access and amenity requirements under the building code, and licences such as food business registration for a cafe. These are worked through before design is finalised.
Built in South East Queensland and delivered Australia wide, most commercial builds are complete within about twelve weeks of design sign off.
General information only. Commercial approval and licensing requirements depend on the use, the site and your local council.
